We at The Beachcomber Motel wish to welcome you to Fort Bragg and the beautiful Mendocino Coast.

As one of the few facilities on the North Coast that allows pets, we graciously ask you to observe a few basic rules.

Your pets are welcome here at The Beachcomber Motel. We will do everything possible to ensure that you and your pet will enjoy your stay here together.

We offer a welcome kit for your dog containing: a dog biscuit, pet towel for drying after outdoor walks, a pet sheet to cover the furniture in your room, a dog-bone magnet and a doggy necklace, pick-up bags, along with a printout of our 7 basic rules for pet courtesy. There is a $20.00 non-refundable cleaning charge per night per pet.

Pets are happiest when they are able to accompany you when walking on the grounds and exploring the beaches. Please remember to keep your pets on a leash. We ask that you do not leave your pet unaccompanied in your room. You may be charged a fee if this rule is not followed or if there is damage to the room. (See list of rules.)

At The Beachcomber Motel, you are located "on the beach" and this oceanfront location with bluffs overlooking the beach is the perfect location for your dog's needs and enjoyment.

Charges may apply if your pet uses motel property for his or her potty area. Please also avoid the the area immediately behind the motel. And for the courtesy of other guests, do not bring your pet into the lobby and breakfast area of the hotel.

We wish to work with you to keep your pet happy and contented at The Beachcomber Motel, and to keep you appraised of all the local leash ordinances. Overly aggressive pets may not be allowed.
