| We at The Beachcomber Motel wish to welcome you to Fort Bragg and the beautiful Mendocino Coast. We are one of the few facilities on the North Coast that allows pets. If we are to continue this policy, we ask you to observe a few basic rules.
- There is a $20.00 non-refundable cleaning charge per night per pet.
- All pets must be on a leash outdoors (Mendocino County Ordinance). Park rangers will fine you if you don't ($275.00 fine).
- A $250 fee will be charged if you leave your pet, at any time, unattended in your room.
- Pets are not allowed in the lobby / breakfast area
- Damage to our room caused by your pet will be charged additionally to your room charge
- A $250 fee will be charged if your pet uses motel property for his or her potty area. Please do not use the area immediately on the other side of the coastal trail directly behind the motel. Please keep your pet off the lawn areas.
- Excessive barking or overly aggressive pets will not be tolerated.
These 7 basic rules are to ensure pet courtesy to our other guests. We sincerely want you and your pet to enjoy your stay with us. However, failure on your part to abide by the above rules could result in your being asked to leave the premises with no refund.
