Music Jams at The Hill House

Valentine Diamond Dinner at The Hill House

Join The Fort Bragg Kiwanis at the Hill House Inn of Mendocino at 6pm for a wonderful meal, various raffles, both silent and live auctions and a chance to win a diamond worth over $5,000! The Valentine Diamond dinner will be held on Saturday February 9, 2008, $75/each or $140 per couple.This includes a chance at the diamond drawing and a 3 course dinner.

Cioppino Dinner

On Friday, January 25th, have a delicious Cioppino Dinner Hosted by the Mendocino Coast Clinics.
This 7th annual event has open seating between 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Tickets for this event, when purchased in advance, are $25.00 per adult and $10.00 for children 6-11. Tickets purchased the day of the event have a cost of $30.00 per adult while children remain $10.00 each. This event includes dinner served family style, live entertainment and fun raffle prizes. Mushroom Walk

Guided Mushroom Identification Walk at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens -
Join the foray at 1:30 pm for an informative walk through the Botanical Gardens on Monday, January 21st. The tours are guided by staff gardeners and are free with Gardens' admission. They are held throughout the season as weather permits. Walks begin at the Gardens Entrance.

Call for Artists for "Arts for The Parks"

Mendocino Area Parks Association (MAPA) intives all artists to enter the Arts for the Parks contest and help them to "celebrate the beauty and diversity of our local State Parks." There will be nearly 50 prizes, including six grand prize cash awards totaling over $5,000. In addition, winning artwork will be showcased in prestigious galleries and wineries throughout Mendocino County during a six-month traveling show. On Friday, April 19, an Open House and Artist Reception will kick off a weekend exhibit of all qualifying artwork. Winners will be announced at the Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 20. Crab Feed!!

Be sure and pick up your tickets early! This sells out each year. Join the St. Anthony's-Knights of Columbus in an all you can eat crab feed. Includes salad, bread and wine. Friday January 25, 2008 at the Crown Hall in Mendocino. $35 per person, be ready for a full evening of entertainment. Dinner starts at 7 p.m.
