Our Local Ducks
Gaby, Beachcomber Staff
Keep an eye out for the couple of ducks that visit the
Beachcomber! Absolutely adorable! One female, one male, both very
curious, and friendly. Don't forget your camera, you might get to see
them next time you give us a visit, wandering around! This past week,
they were around 6 out of the 7 days.

Pudding Creek Trestle
Gaby, Beachcomber Staff
It has been reported that the completion date of July 2007
has been changed. Morgan Zeitler of California State Parks has reported
that work should begin on the trestle in July and be completed in
September 2007. It will be worth the wait, to be able to walk into
town, and to have a short-cut to the famous Glass Beach. The wait is to
decide which method of pile driving will be the least impacting on the
environment.
