Botanical Gardens

The Botanical gardens is now in their summer hours. They are open 1 hour longer! From 9am to 4pm, so now you get to enjoy the beautiful walk where the garden meets the sea! Remember the seasonal highlights: FEB, MAR, APRIL early Rhododendrons, Camellias, Daffodils, Magnolias, Flowering Plums, Pacific Coast Iris. What a beautiful place!

Symphony of the Redwoods

St. Patrick's Day Dinner & Dance

March 17, 2007, is the 114th annual St. Patrick's Dinner and
Dance at the Greenwood Community Center in Elk. Starts with Mass at
1:00pm at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Elk. Dinner from 3:00pm to
8:00pm. Dance 9:00pm to midnight. Dinner: adults $15; children under
12 $6.00. Dinner price includes dance. Sponsored by the Elk Altar
Society.

Broadway, Jazz and Desserts!

How about The Mendocino High School's 6th Annual Chorus Dessert Show! On Friday, March 9th, the HS
Choruses and MS Chamber Singers will be presenting the 6th annual
dessert show @ 7:00pm in the MS gym. This years dessert show theme is
ÏA NIGHT OF BROADWAY AND JAZZÓ. The audience will be served fancy desserts, coffee
and tea by the students throughout the show. The tickets are $12 and
students will be selling tickets beginning Feb 25th. There is a
limited number of seats available. All proceeds will go toward the HS
music festival trip and the MS Chamber for Carnegie Hall.
