The 28th annual pie sale is happening on Labor Day Weekend. In the mood for some pie? You can go to the Presbyterian Church located at 367 S. Sanderson Way, they will not only be selling pies, but also slices, ice cream, coffee and milk. Sounds yummy to me.

China
Katrina, Beachcomber Staff
The Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce is doing something very cool, and it would be a great experience. They are planning a trip to China. The departure date is for next year, Oct.24, 2007. It is a 9 day trip, for $1,399.00 per person. Many extras are included in the trip -- a charter bus to SFO, 5 or 4 star hotel, tour busses, and an english speaking tour guide. It sounds so exciting, and sounds like an experience that would expand your mind.

Shooting Stars...
Gaby, Beachcomber Staff
I'm used to working the morning shift...but tonight I got to come in at 9pm and work for a couple of hours. As I was looking outside from our sliding glass door, I happen to notice how beautiful and clear the sky is tonight. The stars are shining bright, I can just imagine how nice it might be to be sitting on one of our balconies with the company of a loved one, watching the shooting stars go by....being relaxed by the sound of the waves crashing softly on the shore...

Update on Fire Dancing
Kristina, Beachcomber Staff
So for all you folks that have been checking our site for blogging, I have some good news for you. My friends that fire dance at the beach have had great results. A lot of people have been showing up to the shows. They have had many people taking pictures. The crowd is just oohing and aweing with excitement and amazement. With the sunset right
behind the charade, it's a great photo opportunity.
We have had the coast guard in the jetty watching for about an hour, the ambulance crew was also there for a little while. It is drawing great attention. So remember folks if you are bringing your kids bring a jacket, they usually start about 8:00 and go to about 10:00, depending on how many people have showed up. There is public bathrooms in the parking lot. So hopefully we will see you all there, remember Noyo Beach at about eight
o'clock on fridays and saturdays. I'll be there!!!
Directions: Going from the Beachcomber Motel: at Noyo Harbor (North Harbor Drive) take a left hand turn before the bridge. If you're coming north before the bridge, turn at Cirlce K. Also if your having dinner at the Cliff House keep an eye out! They might be down there, depending on weather, conditions of wind, rain and fog, no fire spinning. See you there! Go and enjoy the show!
