Paul Bunyan Days
Labor Day Weekend
Mariah, Front Desk Representative
The Paul Bunyan association is pleased to announce that some old friends are returning to the festival this year!
Historical dress review will be back, held by the Footlighter's building on Laurel St. Another attraction this year is the Kangaroo Kort. So don't be afraid of the rowdy fellas running around amuck, shooting noisy blank pistols and just generally adding to the festival's old-time atmosphere!

Attention Friends and Families:
Fire Dancing
Kristina, Front Desk Representative
A little birdy told me that there is a couple of people that go down to Noyo beach at sunset to spin and spit
fire! (What is is actually called is fire dancing.) Children welcome! Bring a jacket because they will be playing though dark till about 10:00. (Also bring a camera!)
Going from the Beachcomber Motel: at Noyo Harbor (North Harbor Drive) take a left hand turn before the bridge. If you're coming north before the bridge, turn at Cirlce K. Also if your having dinner at the Cliff House keep an eye out! They might be down there, depending on weather, conditions of wind, rain and fog, no fire spinning. See you there! Go and enjoy the show!

Horseback riding "On The Beach"
Patricia Plummer, Front Desk Representative
What a beautiful view sitting at the Beachcomber desk looking out the window to the west and the water sparkling so
vibrantly. A string of horses walk by into the sunset out on the bluffs. Just in case you didn't know, Fort Bragg is one
of the last places that you can horseback ride on the beach.
For more information about horseback riding "on the beach" try

Big Band in Mendocino
Michelle, Front Desk Representative
While strolling in Mendocino the other day, what a thrill it was to hear Big Band music playing in the big tent. The
Mendocino Music Festival never ceases to amaze me! It's beautiful music, beautiful scenery, and most of all the most
beautiful weather, 73 degrees.

The Diaries of Adam and Eve
Mariah, Front Desk Representative
Enjoy a summer evening or Sunday afternoon at the Theater, but you need to be quick to see this one! The remaining
performances of "The Diaries of Adam and Eve" runs Thursday through Sunday evenings at 8 pm and the last Sunday matinee at
2 pm, July 13th though July 16th.
It's an amusing and moving, yet with a warm sense of humor. The costumes are appropriate and simple (love the fig leaves). Also the setting Niagara Falls/Garden of Eden is lovely.
